The new member in Cantons Premium series is called Reference 2.2 DC and fits with a total height of 120 centimeters, not only by the name exactly between the flagship Reference 1.2 DC and the more compact Reference 3.2 DC. Visually, the new 2.2 DC leans heavily on the body design of the mighty Reference 1.2 DC. Because of her, she inherited the "waist acoustic" intended to reduce the sound wall of the housing to a minimum in the important mid- and high-range. As tweeter system Canton also used in the new 2.2 DC proven Reference dome of the particularly light and rigid aluminum oxide ceramic, it transmits in the new Reference 2.2 DC frequencies up to 40,000 Hz. High quality internal cabling and a lavishly designed terminal with gold plated screw terminals and an integrated level adjustment completes the quality appearance of the new Reference 2.2 DC.
