Thorens TD-524

With the TD524, Thorens intended to offer disc-jockeys, dance teachers and professional users a transcription turntable meeting their specific requirements, both from the basic performances and from the convenience of use points of view. Considering the exacting operation conditions, new solutions had to be found in order to guarantee uncoloured reproduction in this particular field. The layout of all function controls as well as the specific requirements of this turntable have been developed in cooperation with several renowned disc jockeys. The acoustic characteristics of the TD-524 have also been tested and refined in some of the most reputable discotheques. Fitted with low polarity DC motor with 256 pole tachogenerator.
